Crafternoon at the New York Public Library
There is a craft circle forming at the main building of the New York Public Library this Saturday, Oct. 15th from 2-4 p.m.
Knitter, Lisa Daehlin will demonstrate some different techniques for creating knitted and crocheted lace.
You must rsvp here: http://www.nypl.org/voices/blogs/blog-channels/hand-made
While you're there you can stop by the free, centennial exhibit of some of the most interesting pieces from the New York Public Library's permanent collection including Charle's Dickens cat paw letter opener that he had made to commemorate his favorite pet, Bob his cat.
I'll be at Crafternoon on Saturday, since I won't be making it up to
Rheinbeck for the Sheep and Wool Festival.
